Mt. Fuji 5th Station 富士山五合目(Subaru Line): From the 5th Station, beautiful view of the 5 lakes of Mt. Fuji, South Alps, Yatsugatake and Chichibu mountain district. There are easy hiking courses such as Oniwa, Okuniwa and Ochudo. It is also a starting point to climbing Mt. Fuji.


Saiko Iyashi no sato Nenba: The Nenba district, standing on the shores of Lake Saiko, was once an area lined with thatched roof houses. They have disappeared. So, with the aim of reviving that traditional Japanese scene, Fujikawaguchiko-machi has restored around 20 thatched roof houses and created “Saiko Iyashino-Sato Nenba.” In each building you can enjoy traditional craft making activities, museums and galleries, shopping of local products and teatime or meals. Retro Bus / Omnibus: The bus operates from Kawaguchiko Sta. at 15 minute intervals, traveling around not only Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Saiko, but also sightseeing facilities such as Mt.Kachi Kachi Ropeway, Lake Kawaguchiko Pleasure Cruiser "En Soleill", Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum, Kawaguchiko Museum of Art, Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba, etc.

Mount Kachi Kachi Ropeway: From the observation area at an elevation of 1,075 meters there is a 360 degree panoramic view of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, and on fair weather days even the Minami Alps (Mount Akaishi and Mount Arakawa) are visible.
Tanuki Tea House たぬき茶屋: It serves light food such as charcoal-fired "Tanuki Dango", as well as "Mount Kachi Kachi Sweet and Salty Potatoes", a provincial dish consisting of potatoes boiled in a pot.

Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine: Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine has a history of 1900 years. When Yamato Takeru-no-mikoto, the ancient Japanese emperor, went on an expedition east, he worshipped the divine spirit of Mt. Fuji from this location. Then a small shrine for Mt. Fuji was constructed here. In the Edo Period, as the Fuji-ko (Mt. Fuji religion) spread, people would begin their mountain pilgrimage here, so it flourished as the starting point of the Mt. Fuji climbing road, called Yoshida Ascending Route. The main shrine, east shrine, and west shrine are national culturally important assets. Read more.


Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine: The Hongu shrine was built against a background of Mt. Fuji, and the Satomiya shrine was built against a background of Lake Kawaguchiko. You can view Mt. Fuji on a straight line extending from the Satomiya shrine and Otorii. Read more.
